The Arts Foundation of New Zealand

In 2011, the Arts Foundation set up a new bi-annual award for children’s book illustrators. They wanted a work on paper that didn’t look like a certificate, and was more precious and covetable. I drew this calligram and had it letterprinted in a limited edition of 30 by Shona Gow of Magpie Press. August 2011
